Lorraine Holmes-Settles has more than fifteen years experience in fundraising and organizational development including five years as President of The Resource Network. She has directed services to local and national nonprofit organizations including annual fund campaigns, Board development, special event fundraising and corporate giving programs. She most recently founded The AFRAM Group, an affiliated firm of Skystone Ryan. Earlier in her career Ms. Holmes-Settles served as director of development for the national office of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, with responsibilities for the annual fund and conference scholarship program. She previously served as Director of Communications and Development for International Voluntary Services, Inc. A graduate of Howard University, Ms. Holmes-Settles is an active member of AFP, and is past chair of the Washington D.C. chapter. She is also involved with numerous community service and professional organizations.
