John Olberding has served a broad spectrum of organizations during his career in public relations and development. His experience includes successful direction of capital, annual and planned giving programs for over 100 health, religious, educational, cultural and social service organizations. His background includes service at Baldwin-Wallace College, as a creative director with a Cleveland-based advertising agency, and as publications director/marketing coordinator for the Cincinnati Reds. Mr. Olberding is an Evans Scholar graduate from Miami University, and did graduate work at the Athenaeum of Ohio where he served that institution as its director of development. He is a frequently featured speaker and theauthor of numerous institutional advancement presentations. He is past president and past National Philanthropy Day co-chair of the Greater Cincinnati chapter of Association of Fundraising Professionals and is a founding member of the board of the Cincinnati Planned Giving Council.
