Pat Ryan has planned and supervised annual giving programs and major campaigns for colleges, schools, hospitals, museums, and community organizations. He has also produced and written numerous fundraising and institutional advancement publications. Before joining the firm, he was Development Director of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati for which he directed annual giving appeals, deferred giving, local church stewardship, increased giving and capital fund campaigns. Mr. Ryan is the past chair of the World Fundraising Council and is past chair of the American Association of Fundraising Counsel (AAFRC). He has also been active in AFP for a number of years and is a past national chair of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy (formerly the NSFRE Foundation). Mr. Ryan is an alumnus of the University of Kentucky, and did graduate work in Business Communications at the University of Southern California where he subsequently served that institution as an assistant dean before entering the fundraising profession.
